The Tables Are Turning

Just like everything in life, you mess up... someone sues you.
A cop does ANYTHING and they or the dept. or the town gets sued.
This time the cop's family is turning the tables.
I am praying for a successful outcome in this case, which will set the precedence for future LEO's and their family's to sue those idiots.

Ohio Officer's Family Sues Suspects

November 24, 2009

The family of Officer Bryce Bezdek, who suffered serious injuries when a suspect crashed her SUV into a pickup truck, is suing the drivers of the two vehicles involved in the crash.

The crash happened two years ago on Interstate 75, near Cincinnati. Officer Bezdek was laying out stop sticks to end the pursuit. He suffered major head trauma from the event and spent more than a month at an area hospital recovering.

The lawsuit was filed in a civil court against the driver of the SUV, Carmella Duly, and the driver of the pickup truck, John Riggs. Plaintiffs in lawsuits can’t ask for specific amounts in damages under Ohio law.
Duly pleaded guilty in March 2008 to two counts of aggravated vehicular assault, among other charges. Riggs was not charged in the incident.
